- I am happy for Gabby Giffords’ quick recovery. It’s just hard not to feel bittersweet while my husband, Steve, lays in bed, essentially bedridden after suffering a head and neck injury at work nearly a year ago.

- @ z1r2p3 I don't think they were trying to create a stir....Apparently they make snow sculptures all the time. They did one of President Obama after his inauguration and another of a throne.

- I don't think so....try to cause a stir, I mean. Apparently they have made many other snow sculptures before, including a bust of President Obama after his inauguration. I think they are just an artistic family expressing themselves with snow!

- @Languishing in Jersey...You say you have the right to to limit what and when your children view, finding the sculpture inappropriate and inconsiderate of others' feelings and sensibilities. I am the mom of five children ranging from age 24 to age 3.
